Marathon, FL Air Bubble Curtain

This property had two canals with previously installed two-belt driven motor-compressor combinations using perforated PVC pipe as for the air curtain.

The Problems

The owners contacted us when their old air bubble curtain system stop stopped working. Before a decision could be made, hurricane Irma struck causing the owner to put the project on hold.

The Solution

A year later they resumed talks with Florida Keys Aeration about the best option for the canal going forward. They finally decided to pull the trigger for us to install four 4HP compressor units, two units per canal.

As part of the contract, before installing our new systems, we removed all the old equipment and retrofit existing plumbing and diffusers.

The Results

While the install began a day or two late as the canals were already full of seaweed when we arrived, the customer is very satisfied with the outcome.
