Key Largo Marine Bubble Curtain Replacement
The Problems
This property in Key Largo had an old blower PVC pipe combo marine bubble curtain that was ineffective and expensive to run when it worked. It stopped working before before hurricane Irma leading the owners to seek a better solution. With the air curtain being placed further in the canal and due to the depth of about 12-15 feet we were able to space the diffusers out further resulting in less equipment and less CFM demand. The property is very happy with the equipment install and overall performance.
The Solution
Florida Keys Aeration studied the area and decided that the original placement was not optimal. We placed the air bubble curtain further in the canal where the depth averaged 12-15 feet. By choosing this spot we were able to space the diffusers out further resulting in less equipment and less CFM demand.
The Results
The property is very happy with the equipment install and overall performance.
